Planning for Slideshow Video Your video is a custom production made especially for you. Choose your Organization Method - Organize your photos in chronological order or in segments.
Choose your Photos - Pick photos, slides, video clips, or digital files that are:
Prepare your Photos - Use digital photos if you have them. Standard photos or slides can be scanned for you for $ .50 each. Use sticky Post-It-Notes to number your standard photos sequentially starting with 001. (Please be careful not to damage your photos if writing directly on the back. Writing with ballpoint pen or markers can indent photo or leave wet ink that can adhere to other photos.) Instructions for scanning your own photos. Choose your Song(s) - The music you choose will set the mood for your video. You can use any song from a compact disc that you have purchased if your video is for non-commercial use. Because you are simply "format shifting" (using songs that you already own for another purpose) solely for your personal enjoyment, this can be considered "fair use" of the music and does not violate copyright law. We also have songs available and can download almost any music you desire at a $3 cost. Choose your Title(s) - Your video includes an on-screen title at the beginning and end. You can repeat the opening title at the end as well or choose a different ending title. For example, you could begin the video with a title reading "Happy Birthday, Amelia " and end with "We Love You, Amelia!" Additional titles to divide segments or text-over messages may be added at a cost $3 each.
